at 3:48 he said “when i said i **** what i’ve become i lied i hated who i was” refers to an earlier song “First Single” where he stated that he hated what he became.

I saw an interview where he actually said he did not write it about Becca. He has some other songs about her but this is not one of them.

no he’s not spelling “becca”, he said in the beginning that he’s not good at making poems, so at the end, he starts to try to make an acrostic poem for “because”, but he stops after A and says that he never finished phrases in the nest line…

hahaha that’s funny you say that, because that’s actually what I thought he spelled when I FIRST heard this song, then I was like ohhhhhh it’s because… that makes more sense
