I have 2 cats and 2 rabbits and am really hoping to get a dog. Can anyone suggest any dog breeds that may or may not get along with my other pets? Or possibly how I can train the dog to not attack or bother the cats and rabbits? Thanks guys.

I am thinking of starting a pet store business that focuses primarily on dogs. I want my store to have unique items that can’t be found elswhere. For all you dog and cat lovers, what products have you wished were available? What kinds of things would make your life with your pet easier when it comes to feeding, driving in the car, playing, etc? Sincere answers only please. Thanks!

We are having a hard time finding a top-quality dog food in the stores. I’d **** to have to mail-order our dog food with such high prices on fuel right now. Does anyone have any recommendations on a pet store chain that actually carries good quality dog food? Petco just doesn’t have anything good. Iams, Purina, Science Diet, all of those are full of grains, which are bad for the dogs. Help!

With the recent trouble with Michael Vick and his involvement in dog fighting rings, the subject of animal cruelty is on everyone’s minds as of late. But the great unspoken is how animals such as pigs, cows, ducks, and chickens are treated in your basic food processing plants; from cows’ throats being slashed, to ducks being forcefed with a tube down their throat. If dog fighting is a felony offense, then why do major food processing corporations continue to administer their own brand of animal cruelty? Who decided that dogs have more rights than other animals?
If your response is to point out the fact that animals in food processing plants are for food, and therefore the treatment is acceptable, I then ask you this: If dogs were considered food, would it then be acceptable?
